I currently work for Janela Bay, a Swimwear company. Their mission is to create modest swimwear in all sizes to bring comfort and the best fit for all types of bodies. Here you will see a few of the many designs I have made for this excellent company, whose motif is to make women feel comfortable and beautiful with their bodies.
Design #1
This beautiful halter neck one-piece makes it perfect for a secure swimsuit that won't fall off your shoulders while in the water. It covers the back by hiding the undesired back rolls and still shaping your body.
In the first image, you can see the original flat sketch design with essential details. It specifies the halter neck, the bust dart, seamless straps, and crisscross straps, the right one overlapping the left strap.
The second image shows a possible print design. I like to add 1-3 print options so we can get a better idea of what it would look like. Usually, I would design my prints for the designs but other times, Janela Bay has bought many licensed prints to add.
In the third image, you can see the technical sketch. I have added our regular measurements and new ones for the halter neck and straps. The manufacturer that we work with already knows the style and sizes for our suits, so it's okay to add more detail on it, like what specific fabric or lining; they already have all the information.
The last images show the prototype. They made it with similar fabric material so we could see what it would look like. We wanted a rib knit/corduroy textured fabric for this design. I will add the final pictures of this suit when it arrives in stores.

Design #2
This feminine short flutter sleeve one-piece fits incredibly at the bust area with a V-neck and crisscross in the back. With its flutter sleeves, this suit is perfect for a more feminine look when going to the beach and still securing its low back opening with the straps.
In the first image, you can see the original flat sketch design with essential details. It specifies the V-neck, short flutter sleeves, bust dart, crisscross straps, and more.
The second image shows a stripe print I designed.
The third image shows the technical sketch, including the hem finish needed at the sleeves.
The last images show the prototype. They made it with similar fabric material to our suits so we could we could judge the fit and make changes. I will add the final pictures of this suit when it arrives in stores.

Design #3
I wanted to create a more basic look and elevate it with the straps in the back neckline to add a feminine touch. I also wanted to add comfort with the straps so women can adjust the neckline to their liking.
In the first image, you can see the original flat sketch design with essential details. It specifies the scoop neck at the front and back, the straps, and the seam at the waist.
The second image shows a print option and a better view of how the final product would look.
The third image shows the technical sketch with the overall measurements.
The last images show the prototype. They made it with similar fabric material to our suits so we could judge the fit and make changes. I will add the final pictures of this suit when it arrives in stores.
